We've made it back to my parents house in Plano after a wonderfully rewarding trip to Florida. Now my Mom and my hubby are searching Plano's grocery stores for the traditional New Year's fare of black-eyed peas, cabbage, cornbread and ham. These are supposed to ensure a year of health, wealth and happiness. I'm not sure which brings which, and why you need 4 to bring 3, but we don't want to risk tradition so the search continues. I trust our good fortune will continue and eventually we'll find find what we need.
Happy New Year! I am ready to embrace 2009 and all of the health, wealth and happiness on our horizon.
