No snow or mistletoe

Interesting to spend Christmas "on the road." We couldn't have asked for better conditions. No delays or excitement on any of the flight legs. Our greatest misadventures were during the hour spent trying to get our rental vehicle (which turned out to be a cramped SUV). Once we arrived at Port St. Lucie we finally stopped for dinner, appropriately at TGI Friday's. I said TGI "DINNER!" It was 10:30pm! A glass of Cabernet and a delightful salad helped calm my frazzled nerves.

We're enjoying tropical weather in Florida and so far I would say the trip is going very well. Our youngest is anxiously awaiting the arrival of my younger sister. I hope she is prepared. She arrives Monday.

Yesterday we made it to the driving range & practice putting green. Today we're going to the training center. Tomorrow we will actually play a round. Here's my handsome hubby in his tie-dye after reassuring the guy at the desk he wasn't planning on playing dressed like that (no collar & flip-flops), he was just asking about pricing.

ps I'm popping all kinds of Rx to fight an uncommon cold. I rarely get anything so common as a cold, but since the septoplasty, my allergies have been negligible so I suppose it's only fair I get an uncommon cold.
