Sunday's Study: Judges 4

Continuing in the study of Judges. Today, we cover the story of Deborah: judge and prophetess. Deborah (which means "the Bee") and Jael (which means "mountain goat") help to deliver the Israelites into peaceful living in the land flowing with milk and honey.

I love that God gave women a chance to shine. And the pun, oh I love the pun. (Get it? Land of milk and honey, delivered by the Mountain Goat and the Bee?)

God is filling me with a passion for the Old Testament. Thank you for coming along on this fascinating journey. This is really better than anything you can find on television!

I could never, in my wildest dreams, could have imagined that you claim to be one of the few elected of God as a christian!
I always thought you hated all men no matter who they were and that submission for you could never occur but by force. Now you to submit to Jesus as well as agree that women are to submit to their husbands and never teach man!
Quite a shocking revelation! Tell me Fran, do you really know that God hates sin and we were once his enemy? What has changed you??? I really hope this is true but seems so hard to believe! I would love to see you in heaven and talk about this earthly realm we shared sometimes with great judgement over one another!
