Merry Christmas!

Because we're traveling tomorrow, we celebrated Christmas today. It's amazingly easy to psyche yourself into believing it is actually Christmas, even though reality (and the calendar) say it is Christmas Eve. We opened presents this morning (hubby and I are here at my parents with our youngest, joined by my younger sister) and had a semi-traditional Christmas dinner. Semi-traditional because a) it was healthy South Beach style, b) it was 2 hours later than planned and c) there were occasional bouts of testiness.

Tomorrow I'll be checking in from sunny Florida. In advance, and in case I'm not able to log in tomorrow, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

But the angel said to them (the shepherds), "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." (Luke 2:10-14)

Alleluia!

Merry Christmas to you and yours, too!

(Glad you are going to Florida, but I understand airports are still a mess everywhere. Safe travel.)
