Certainly, we can tell when people are sincerely trying to help us vs just being mean or unkind.itsjustmehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09444211205683312967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1889410813854722099.post-7077082681772653862009-04-05T21:49:00.000-05:002009-04-05T21:49:00.000-05:00Thank you TKH. But they certainly give me lots of opportunity to practice. :)

Hi Nichols, Thank you for sharing this great example. I wonder if I'm not using this blog to get rid of some of the negative energy so I can more calmly face the family.

Denise, thank you for the much needed blessing.you gotta wonderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17185948145655907204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1889410813854722099.post-61531042655192855132009-04-04T23:41:00.000-05:002009-04-04T23:41:00.000-05:00Be blessed sweetie.Be blessed sweetie.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09275456448997619944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1889410813854722099.post-76218320937075161432009-04-04T19:17:00.000-05:002009-04-04T19:17:00.000-05:00It was my sister that told me something I needed t...It was my sister that told me something I needed to hear - about how when I got mad or sad I made sure everyone around me knew about it. While I thought I was wearing 'my heart on my sleeve' and not unhealthily 'bottling things up', she pointed out that I expected my friends and family to deal with what ever I put out there - that I had NO consideration for how I was affecting them. It was delivered in a calm loving way, and while it may have stung a bit - it did cause me to grow and change. (or at least I'd like to think it did.)Nicholshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03127142649935372760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1889410813854722099.post-66501001156965674422009-04-04T19:07:00.000-05:002009-04-04T19:07:00.000-05:00Oh, my. Are you being too soft on me?

I don't have much experience with the formal title of 'manager' but I feel like I have managed lots.

For the time being, communicating loving criticism to my children is ample challenge.
